Electrix Competition Team ⚡ Season in Motion

Kicking Off the Electrix Competition Season 19 at Convention!

Our competition team is starting their season with an exciting weekend at the KAR Convention! Dance conventions bring dancers together from studios across the region to train with professional choreographers, grow their technique, and build lasting memories. It’s a chance to learn, be inspired, and celebrate the joy of dance.

ALL - INCLUSIVE DANCE

If you think you can’t learn about jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop because you’ve got a mobility challenge, (including wheelchairs or walkers) then think again. Bellevue Dance Academy is helping kids with mobility difficulties to move and groove! If you’re wondering if taking a dance class would be a good idea for your child, let us know!  We’d be happy to give you a free trial. We warmly welcome and encourage everyone to explore the world of dance. It is a great hobby and opens up many opportunities for children to meet new friends, enjoy music, express themselves and exercise in a safe, accepting environment.

What families LOVE about Bellevue Dance Academy.

“My 3 boys ages 3, 4, 7 have various special needs and absolutely LOVE to dance! We reached out to BDA about starting lessons and what they'd recommend. They understood our Covid-19 concerns due to a few of our kids being considered High Risk and came up with a way for our boys to explore all different styles of dance in a way that suited all their abilities and was safe. Their dance instructor ERIN is simply AWESOME!! The boys adore seeing her every week and look forward to learning something new each time. Erin does a fantastic job at keeping them working so they don't have time to idle and is so great about meeting the boys where they are at. We are so thankful BDA is special needs friendly and that they have the best teachers like Erin! We can't recommend them enough!!”

“My daughter started here this year and loves it, we were a little nervous about starting at a new studio but in the first week people were calling us by name and treating Zoe like she had been there forever. She goes home sore and tired, but can't wait to go back!!”

“I just have to share how great the Summer Theater Camp experience was for my 12 year old daughter. She has never taken classes at BDA and didn't know anyone, but was interested in doing the musical.

The staff was great about making her feel welcome and they really brought her out of her shell. She loved the fact that they shared kudos with each other at the end of each day. This experience gave her a chance to see herself in a new light and boosted her self-image. Now back at school, she had to write about something that made her unique. Her response was that she has performed in a musical! And when asked about her summer, she always talks about theater camp.

Thanks so much, Susan. You have a wonderful staff and you make a real impact on the students, that goes much deeper than technique of dance or theater!”
